Osun State Government has discharged eight coronavirus patients including two children.

The state Commissioner for Health, Dr Rafiu Isamotu, disclosed this in a Facebook post shared around 6pm on Monday.

Isamotu in the post put the age of the children at two and half years, and three years old, adding that three of the patients are males, while the rest five are females.

The post read,

“#Covid-19: Osun update as at May 4th, 2020.8 patients discharged today; 3 males, 5 females. 2 children among them (2 1/2 yrs and 5 yrs old) No new case today, 1 result awaited, 36 total confirmed cases, two active cases and three deaths.”
