Barcelona manager, Quique Setien, has said his team started well before losing steam, following their 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid on Sunday.

Vinicius Junior and Mariano Diaz scored second half goals, as Madrid overtook Barca at the top of the table.

Madrid are now one point clear thanks to this victory.

“I think we did a good first half and they did it in the second.

“Even at the beginning of the second half we started quite well and we had it under control, but we started to have inaccuracies and they squeezed us very hard,” Setien told reporters after the game.

The loss ended a four-game La Liga winning streak for Barcelona.
