Popular human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju has reacted to the removal of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the Emir of Kano by the State Government.

According to the State Government, the former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor was dethroned due to his “total disrespect to lawful instructions from the office of the governor and other lawful authorities.”

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has now been replaced with Emir Aminu Ado Bayero as the new Emir of Kano.

Reacting to the news, the popular activist expressed that the former monarch should run for the highest position in the country.
