A Laspotech security guard has been arrested by Police for killing and slaughtering his colleague.

The Lagos state police command arrested a security guard employed by the management of the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), Ikorodu, identified as Cletus Wilson for allegedly killing his colleague, John Okoro, and attempting to run away with his body parts.

Cletus mans who guards the Computer Engineering Faculty of the Polytechnic had reportedly tricked his colleague, John into the bush within the school premises after which he hit him on his head with a metal object.

John afterward became unconscious and Cletus went on to slaughter the deceased and then chopped off his hand. He was about to run with the body part when he was apprehended by his colleagues.

Police along Ikorodu-Sagamu road were immediately called to the scene by the management of the school who later arrested Cletus.

Confirming the incident, the divisional police officer in charge of the police station, Adekunle Omisakin, said the LASPOTECH security guard will be charged to court immediately after investigations into the matter have been concluded.

We are yet to get an official statement from the school authority concerning the incident.
