A 25-year-old Indian Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supporter cut off his finger after he wrongly voted for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the second phase of Lok Sabha polls 2019.

Pawan Kumar, while casting his vote, wanted to hit the button for the BSP but instead hit the button for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The man said he was frustrated after the error and could not control his emotions. Kumar was rushed to a hospital but was soon discharged after his treatment
