As PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar prepares to challenge his defeat at the recently held presidential election at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, his opponent and winner of the election, President Muhammadu Buhari will be represented by strong lawyers and SANs.

Leadership reports that President Buhari’s legal team will be led by Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN). According to the paper, Olanipekun will lead Festus Keyamo, the spokesperson of the Buhari campaign, Akin Osinbajo, younger brother of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and 15 other senior advocates of Nigeria (SANs).

Atiku who rejected the results of the election, describing it the worst ever held in Nigeria’s democratic history, is requesting that the tribunal declares him as winner of the election or order a rerun.
