Today however, i want to touch on 3 strong reasons why Ronaldo will be a better manager than Messi.

Ronaldo Has Experience Playing Across Different Leagues!

A football manager needs experience in his CV and this is a critical aspect where Ronaldo has an edge over Messi.

Ronaldo has played in Portugal, England, Spain & Italy. He knows the culture of football in these top footballing countries unlike Messi who has never left Spain.

Who would you want to manage your football club huh?

Ronaldo Is A Loner, Hard worker & Brave!

One thing you have to love about Ronaldo is his ability to do it all alone on the pitch when the going gets tough. As a football manager you need to be able to make some tough decisions in isolation. Messi is more of a team guy.

Ronaldo’s bravery was to put to the test in the final of Euro 2016. After being forced off after just 25 minutes following a challenge from Dimitri Payet, Ronaldo soon switched to Manager Mode on the touchline and we all know his antics motivated his team-mates on the pitch to win that match.

Argentina Legend Diego Maradona once revealed that Messi is simply not a great leader.

“He’s a great player but he’s not a leader. It’s useless trying to make a leader out of a man who goes to the toilet 20 times before a game.” Maradona said

Maradona was referring to Messi’s severe anxiety problems where he had sweaty palms and vomited before some important matches for Barcelona, a habit that can’t be associated with a manager.

Ronaldo Has Played & Learnt From Experienced Managers!

When you have been under great managers like Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, Fernando Santos, you are automatically an instant hit for a managerial job, that’s what Cristiano boasts in his CV.

Messi has also been tutored by top managers here and there in Barcelona, but his success has come from the same style of Barcelona which is built on ‘tiki-taka and possession football’.

But Ronaldo has toured and learnt different systems in football across Europe.
